The last installment of Javon Inman’s interview is powerful! Just a few simple questions, pack so much wisdom! Check it out:
Li’el: What is your favorite venue you have performed at so far?
Javon Inman: The CD release concert held at the Black Box Theater at Montgomery College’s Takoma Park/Silver Spring location. I had all my family, church family, and friends there. It was a very intimate setting, I definitely loved and felt God’s presence in that place.
Li’el: What was it like performing at Apollo Theater?
Inman: It was great to be on a stage where so many great legends had performed. The whole experience, from being on the stage to rubbing the tree stump that so many greats have touched before going on to perform, it was so great.
Li’el: What advice would you give to young artists trying to make it in this industry?
1) Stay in God’s presence.
2) Be patient, because God’s timing is perfect.
3) Pray a lot and stay in God’s Word.
4) Don’t get sidetracked by the accolades!
5) I would want them to know the love of God like no other.
