Ruth La’Ontra Jones, 19 years of age, is a native of Aberdeen, North Carolina and the youngest of three children born to Pastor Arvetra and Ruth Jones.
Ruth serves as a dedicated member of The Come As You Are Evangelistic Center, in Aberdeen, North Carolina under the leadership of internationally renowned, Evangelist Lydia Jones and Co Pastor Arvetra Jones, Jr.. At Come As You Are, Ruth serves as Praise and Worship leader. She loves the Lord with all of her heart and is not ashamed to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ…
The singing ministry of Ruth started at the age of 2. Showcasing her talent to the hit show Sister Act Two “Joyful Joyful” became her song. Her singing ministry has allowed her to open up for the renowned Helen Baylor at the tender age of 8. She has sung for Pastor Shirley Ceasar and graced the stage with Kierra Sheard. She has done background for Vashawn Mitchell, opened up for James Fortune, and featured on Troy Sneed “Youth For Christ” CD song entitled ” Never Give Up”. She is also featured on “Teen Pure n Heart” CD song entitled “Where Would I Be”. Ruth is also featured on the rap group “Xcel” CD and many more. In November Ruth graced the stage at the Holy Convocation COGIC Convention in St. Louis Missouri . She is currently working with Bubby Fann.
